Sandi B's Lip Balms are made by hand in small batches

using only natural ingredients and are hand poured into the containers.

Because we choose natural beeswax the colors may vary with each batch.

Beeswax is a byproduct of honey production

and makes wonderful lip balms that smooth on like silk.

It is impervious to water and unaffected by mildew, and has a melting point of 143 to 148 degrees.

Essential oil is added to "specialty" lip balms to lend a hint of aroma.

If you wonder why beeswax is so valuable, consider this:

It has been estimated that bees must fly 150,000 miles to produce one pound of wax.

For every 100 pounds of honey a beekeeper harvests, only one to two pounds of beeswax are produced.
