I was born and raised in New Hampshire, grew up in the country and spent a lot of time on my grandparents farm. That, along with many family camping trips, sealed my love of the outdoors.

In my time away from work I enjoy hunting,  scuba diving, motorcycle touring, genealogy, and photography.

My life has had many chapters.  My husband and I have owned and shown Appaloosa horses, raised geese, ducks, and pigs, enjoyed exotic scuba vacations, played in the snow with snowmobiles, toured New England by motorcycle, and summered on our boat and at our cottage in Maine.

Through all the chapters of my life I have always taken photos. I choose to photograph what appeals to me, and from where I spend most of my free time. Hence, most of my work is country or seaside based. My favorite modes are macro and landscape photography. I sold my first image in 2000, and took first place in the Offshore Magazine photography competition in 2001 and was published therein.
